Deshaun Watson’s latest sexual assault accuser will be cooperating with the NFL.

Earlier this week, a new woman came forward and accused the Browns quarterback of raping her in October 2020.

Lawyer Tony Buzbee, who represented a majority of the previous 24 women who sued Watson for sexual misconduct and is now representing the new accuser, said he would make his client available to the NFL in the next two weeks and will have “pertinent video” to share.

“We intend to interview with the NFL in two weeks,” attorney Tony Buzbee said in a statement issued to PFT. “This coming week however I have to go to the Coast Guard hearings in South Carolina regarding the Titan submersible implosion because I represent a victim’s family from that. When I return I intend to make my client available for interview along with two individuals who spoke to her immediately after the assault. I also have video to share that will be pertinent.”

There’s been some debate about whether the new accusation would allow the Cleveland Browns to void Brown’s contract but it’s currently unclear if that option is available for the team.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy says the league is reviewing the latest accusation against Watson.

“We are reviewing the complaint, and we will look into the matter under the personal conduct policy. Not looking at commissioner’s exempt list as there’s been no formal charges and the league’s review has just begun,”

Watson’s lawyers have already denied the latest allegations.

“Deshaun strongly denies the allegations in the Jane Doe lawsuit filed Monday. We have asked him not to comment further while this matter works its way through the courts, but are comfortable he will ultimately be vindicated.”

“We will be ready to defend this case in court at the appropriate time, but don’t intend to conduct our defense in the media. We would ask that people be patient while the legal process runs its course.”

“In the meantime, Deshaun is going to focus his energy and concentration on football.”
