So, have you heard of New Orleans Saints sideline reporter Aileen Hnatiuk? Unless you live in Louisiana or are a big fan of the Saints, probably not.

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old sports reporter for BRProud News out of Baton Rouge, posted a very simple tweet signing off for the 2022 NFL season.

“That’s a wrap #Saints,” Hnatiuk wrote along with a photo of herself holding a microphone in front of a Saints building.

Amazingly, it absolutely blew up and went viral with over 5.9 MILLION views, almost 1,100 retweets, over 1,400 quote tweets and almost 38,000 likes.

Her Instagram profile links to East Carolina Volleyball and the Chi Omega sorority at the school, so one has to assume that’s where she matriculated.

Aileen Hnatiuk also lists Tampa in her bio, so she’s a Florida girl.

Reactions to her sign-off message and photo have been through the roof.

“Suddenly I’m going From Duval to who dat,” another guy tweeted.

“Starting to see the saints in a different light,” another thirsty fan wrote, echoing hundreds of others.

In fact, things have gotten so nuts, just because of that one picture, she was featured in a profile by The US Sun.

It’s in that profile we learn that, yes, Aileen Hnatiuk is indeed from Florida. She was born there in February 1996 and grew up in Weeki Wachee.

We also learn that she is the daughter of PGA golfer Glen Hnatiuk and attended Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School before, yep, going to East Carolina.

She majored in communications with a focus on journalism, graduating in May 2018.

After internships at ESPN, WNCN-TV and WITN-TV and work as a sports reporter for NBC29 WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia, Aileen Hnatiuk worked as a freelancer in Tampa.

Now she covers the Saints for WVLA-NBC 33 and WGMB-FOX 44 in Baton Rouge and her future, based on the avalanche of positive comments, looks to be pretty bright.
