If you plan to go to the Super Bowl this year, be prepared to pay a ton of money. On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs punched their tickets to New Orleans by beating their opponents in the conference championships.
According to NFL insider Field Yates, the cheapest ticket on the ticket reselling site TickPick is $6,201.

The GameTime app released a report saying the cheapest get-in ticket exceeded $7k, and the highest ticket sold for over $56k after the game was announced.

With the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles punching their tickets to the Super Bowl, Gametime, the leading app/site for last minute tickets, has revealed updated ticket prices for the game in New Orleans. Currently, the lowest-cost/get-in seats are available for $7,479 per ticket (including all taxes and fees). Top tickets are going for $56,409 per ticket.
For comparison, the lowest-priced/get-in seats for last year’s Super Bowl between the Chiefs and 49ers were $8,764 each, right before the game. Top priced seats were $37,620 each. When the Chiefs and Eagles met in the Super Bowl two years ago, tickets were starting at $6,264 each with the top priced tickets going for $33,042 each.
