NFL International Player Pathway
The 2026 NFL Draft is absolutely loaded with freak athletes. From Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles, to Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, and Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, there’s no shortage of athletic studs.
However, the best athlete in this year’s draft is a defensive tackle whose name you’ve probably never heard, and who you have almost certainly never seen play football. His name is Uar Bernard, and he has the potential to dominate the National Football League.
Uar Bernard’s RAS score is insane. With numbers like this, I’d be shocked if he isn’t selected in the 2026 NFL Draft https://t.co/wvf0YSDfuX pic.twitter.com/jDjTrJGtKY

Who Is Uar Bernard And Why Should You Know His Name Before The 2026 NFL Draft?
Uar Bernard never played a down of college football. In fact, the Nigeria native has never played a single down of organized football at all. And yet, it’s still nearly a lock that he hears his name called at the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.
That’s because Bernard’s athleticism defies logic.
Earlier this week at the NFL’s HBCU showcase, he measured in at 6-foot-4-1/2 inches and 306 pounds with 11-inch hands and almost 36-inch arms, per Bruce Feldman of The Athletic.
But that’s just the start. Bernard carries just six percent body fat. He has a 39-inch standing vertical and a 10-foot-10-inch broad jump, which is more than a foot longer than any defensive tackle at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.
Oh, and he can run, too.
Bernard ran a 4.63-second 40-yard dash, including a jaw-dropping 1.60 10-yard split. Simply put, Bernard is truly a 1-of-1 athlete. Those numbers would give him a perfect 10.00 Relative Athletic Score.
“Hands down, he is the most explosive athlete I’ve ever seen in my life,” trailer Jordan Luallen told The Athletic of Bernard. “He broad jumped 10-10, and it was effortless. At 306 pounds. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Oh, and he’s not alone in terms of elite athletes from the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program in the 2026 draft.
Does anybody have Nigeria vs. Kenya all-22? https://t.co/c7aah7F9wM pic.twitter.com/AhbahGCsp1

Kenya native Josh Weru, who has played rugby but never organized football, is a 6-foot-4, 244-pound defensive end prospect with 33.25-inch arms who runs a 4.45 40-yard dash (1.59 10-yard split), has a 41-inch vertical, and broad jumped 11-feet-2-inches.
Weru isn’t quite the athlete of Bernard, at least according to his 9.82 RAS. But he’s darn close!
The NFL IPPP has been growing rapidly in recent years. It helped uncover and produce Philadelphia Eagles’ left tackle Jordan Mailata, who is both a Super Bowl champion and one of the best tackles in the league.
And given the numbers, nobody would be surprised if Bernard and Weru were next in line.
