Things aren’t going well for the NFL in their first-ever game in Brazil.
On Friday, the Packers and the Eagles played a game in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the Corinthians Arena soccer stadium, which uses a Desso Grassmaster for its playing surface.
Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil uses the exact type of playing surface as the #Eagles and #Packers do at Lambeau and the Linc. (Desso Grassmaster).
Oddly enough, they are the only 2 Teams in the NFL who use this type of turf/grass.

The playing surface at Corinthians Arena uses GrassMaster, which is a product that combines perennial Ryegrass with artificial fibers. It’s essentially a fancy version of real grass mixed with elements of turf fibers, as opposed to using strictly turf.
There are currently only two stadiums in the NFL that use that same material for their playing surfaces — Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles, and Lambeau Field, home of the Packers
Unfortunately, players and refs had issues with the field at Corinthians Arena all night.
The field conditions have been a problem in Brazil, with Packers and Eagles players slipping all over the place.

Fans blasted the NFL over the terrible field conditions in the Packers-Eagles game.
“NFL is gonna have to address some tough questions about this field. Someone has to answer for this. Absolutely embarrassing.” commented ESPN’s Stephen Holder.
Even LeBron James has to comment on the field conditions in Brazil.
Man this field sucks!!! 🤦🏾♂️ GB vs PHI

We’ll have to wait and see if the NFL addresses the field issues after the game.
