Today Is Only The 30th Time Ever That NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL And MLS All Have Games

If you woke up today and felt like there was something special in the air, you were right. Today is what is being referred to as the “Sports Equinox.”

What is a Sports Equinox? Well, it is a day when Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, and Major League Soccer are all playing games.

It’s only happened 29 other times in history and this is the only time in 2023 that it will occur.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, there will be 11 NBA games, 9 NHL games, 2 MLS playoff games, Monday Night Football featuring the Las Vegas Raiders and the Detroit Lions, and Game 3 of the World Series.

Unfortunately for all of the diehard sports fans out there, we have to wait until 7 p.m. ET for all the action to begin.

Here’s what happening and when. Plan accordingly…

MLS – 7:00 p.m. ET – Orlando City SC vs. Nashville SC
NBA – 7:00 p.m. ET – Brooklyn Nets vs. Charlotte Hornets
NBA – 7:00 p.m. ET – Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers
NBA – 7:00 p.m. ET – Boston Celtics vs. Washington Wizards
NHL – 7:00 p.m. ET – Florida Panthers vs. Boston Bruins

Interestingly, the last time this happened was a year and one day ago, October 31, 2022.
