Regardless of whatever political side you may fall on, there is no denying that Donald Trump has shown us all that anybody who is anybody has a shot at being President of the United States if you play your cards right.
With a new election upcoming, all types of celebrities and athletes have mentioned the idea of throwing their names in the ring. The Rock, Joe Exotic, and Will Smith are just a few names that you’ll hear in the rumor mill. So, I decided to join the party, not by announcing I’m running for President, but by ranking my Top 3 NFL players that I believe would have a legitimate shot at running for President.
3. Larry Fitzgerald
Larry is known as being one of the nicest, most well-liked players in the league. Not that we need a President with soft hands, but you’re not going to find a person with softer hands, and everyone wants a President with soft hands right?
Either way, it’s hard to lose an election when you do not have a single enemy out there.
2. Russell Wilson
The 2019-20 season was supposed to be a ‘rebuilding’ year for the Seahawks until Russell Wilson decided he had other plans. He put up one of the most dominate years in his career and was a sure thing for MVP if Lamar Jackson didn’t decide to be an absolute freak for all 16 games of the season.
It looks like America is in for a rebuilding year with the way the economy is going right now, so isn’t it only right we put Wilson in charge?
1. Drew Brees
I mean, do I really have to put any energy into making anyone a believer out of Drew Brees for President?
There is not a single person in the state of Louisiana that would vote against that man and neither should you. This guy has put an entire state and city on his back and he’s only 6-feet tall.
I would love nothing more than to see that man step up to the podium at The White House and give America one of those pregame pumpup speeches he does for his team every Sunday.
Can you imagine how fired up the American people would be? All 50 states just ready to run through a brick wall at any given moment, what a beautiful thing.
