Today, former Jets QB Boomer Esiason dropped a bomb on Friday on WFAN radio when he claimed that the Jets requested the NFL check the visitor team’s locker room at Gillette Stadium for “listening devices” ahead of their game with the Patriots last Sunday.

According to Esiason, the NFL complied and did search the locker room for bugs but none were found.
The Jets and the NFL have yet to comment on Boomer’s claims but if what Boomer says turns out to be true it’s pretty huge considering everything going on between the NFL and the New England Patriots.
