The Philadelphia Eagles won a close home game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday to improve to 3-2 on the season. With that being said, there were still plenty of fans who were unhappy with head coach Nick Sirianni.

During the matchup, “Fire Sirianni” chants rained down at Lincoln Financial Field. This came despite the fact that the Eagles never once trailed in the contest!

Of course, they were aided in that early effort by another dismal performance by Deshaun Watson. Still, the fanbase wasn’t happy to see the Browns hanging around in the game despite their struggles to move the ball.

Cleveland’s offense never scored. Philly outgained its opponent by more than 125 yards. There were no turnovers in the game. Yet, the outcome wasn’t decided until well into the fourth quarter with the Eagles hanging on for the 20-16 win.

Many in Philadelphia laid the blame on their hairless head coach, and the home fans let their leader hear their disapproval!

Those in attendance called for Nick Sirianni’s job. After the game, he let the crowd know how he felt about the criticism.

He didn’t care! In fact, he decided to create an even deeper divide between him and the fanbase that supports his team on Sundays.

The taunting infuriated those watching along from home. Social media erupted with reaction after the clip of the chirping went viral.

“I would’ve rather lost this game and had Sirianni fired by tonight than won and continued with him as our coach.”

Another win means Nick Sirianni is a step closer to keeping his job no matter how much Eagles fans wish otherwise. Philadelphia will look to move to 4-2 next week in a game against the Giants.
