UConn guard Nika Muhl shined on the orange carpet ahead of the WNBA Draft on Monday night, flashing an icy custom grill while posing for photos. She also filled followers in on what she’s most excited about at the next level.
Muhl, originally from Croatia, spent the last four seasons in Storrs playing for head coach Geno Auriemma and the Huskies.
She was the facilitator on the offense over the last two years, averaging 6.9 points and 7.1 assists a game. Her production as a senior helped Connecticut reach the Final Four where they fell one point shy of a national title appearance.
In that loss, which came to Iowa, she was key in holding Caitlin Clark to a season-low in scoring.
While that last result didn’t go as she’d hoped, Nika Muhl is ready for the next step – and she’s stealing the show on draft night!
And last but not least, the Croatian Sensation Nika Muhl iced out with UConn teammates Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd there to show some support 🥶🇭🇷 #WNBADraft https://t.co/aXApGO16B7 pic.twitter.com/OQehh1uSOb

The guard posted a video on her Instagram story showing her 224K followers an icy grill on the big stage.
That mouthwear repped her hometown of Zagreb with a “ZG,” and it was designed by Gabby Elan Jewelry.

Nika Muhl talked about the WNBA player(s) she’s most excited to face.
Her answer?
Aliyah Boston and Diana Taurasi, but for different reasons.
Boston played against Muhl in college, suiting up for the University of South Carolina. Muhl vividly remembers a block from her freshman season, and she’s looking for redemption!
Nika Muhl was asked which player she was excited to go up against and stared right at Aliyah Boston 😂

As for Taurasi, Muhl enjoys the trash talk the fellow UConn Husky brings to the table.
We’ve already seen a bit of that this offseason following the veteran’s comments on Caitlin Clark.
Nika Muhl should soon get her chance to face off against each, assuming she isn’t picked up by the Mercury or Fever in the WNBA Draft.
