Nike just unveiled Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s first lifestyle signature shoe, the Dangeruss Wilson 1, which drops on July 19th, and as much as I hate to admit it, it’s actually a damn nice-looking shoe.
According to Nike, the Dangeruss Wilson 1 “takes its inspiration from the dual dynamism of quarterback Russell Wilson — powering his goals in the gym and polishing his look outside of it.”
The shoe includes a heel Air Max bag for performance and comfort, while the patent leather on the tongue and the added butter leather on the mud guard provide a classy look for the red carpet (or other formal affairs). Wilson’s number three, also a symbol of wholeness and consistency, informs other features of the shoe.
Russell Wilson’s first lifestyle signature shoe, the Dangeruss Wilson 1, is available for purchase July 19 on NIKE.COM in North America, as well as Nike and Nordstrom stores in Seattle and Portland.
