Georgia Wide Receiver Transfer Called Out For Hypocritical War Chant After Leaving Texas A&M

Former Texas A&M wide receiver Noah Thomas recently transferred to Georgia. His former fanbase is now calling him out for participating in a hypocritical war chant less than two months ago.

He hears them loud and clear!

Thomas was rated as a four-star wide receiver prospect in the recruiting Class of 2022. The Texas-native committed to play for Texas A&M as part of Jimbo Fisher’s historic (and extremely expensive) group of signees. No signing class in college football history was better, supposedly.

Although the vast majority of that class moved on within a year, Thomas stuck around for the first season of the Mike Elko era. He finished as the Aggies’ leading receiver in 2024 with 39 receptions for 574 yards and eight touchdowns.

For whatever reason, Noah Thomas entered the transfer portal shortly after a loss to USC in the Las Vegas Bowl. Finances might’ve played a role. It might’ve been about opportunity. We don’t know.

Either way, Thomas announced his commitment to Georgia on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-6, 200-pound pass-catcher is headed to Athens.

In response to the news, Texas A&M fans referenced a viral video from earlier in the season.

Prior to every game, the Aggies walked through the tunnel with a specific chant. One player yells “If you ain’t in my jersey,” to which everyone else replies “f— you!” It’s electric.

Noah Thomas was a proud participant in the pregame chant as of just last month. That is no longer the case. He no longer wears a Texas A&M jersey so, f— him!

Thomas saw all of the criticism from his former fanbase and responded accordingly.

Unfortunately, Thomas will not get the opportunity to ball out against the Aggies during the regular season. His only opportunity to play Texas A&M while at Georgia would be in the SEC Championship or the College Football Playoff. Should that matchup come to exist, it is game on!
