The NY Giants are firing back at President Trump. Earlier this week, Trump golfed with Saquon Barkley and later met with the Eagles at the White House, where he claimed that he had told the Giants not to trade the running back during a meeting with team personnel.
“I was with the Giants and the head coach and some people, and I said, ‘Do anything you have to, but don’t lose Saquon.’
“They lost Saquon. That was not good. I called that one. That was an easy one to call because he played damn well for the Giants, I can tell you that.”

Giants spokesperson Pat Hanlon spoke to Front Office Sports and denied that there were ever any conversations between Trump and the Giants about Barkley.
The team refused to issue any official response to Trump, but Hanlon decided to fire shots at the President on Twitter.
