Oakland A’s Fans Catches Back-To-Back Foul Balls And The Crowd LOVES It

Catching a foul ball at a Major League Baseball game is pretty awesome. I’ve only caught one ball at a regular MLB game. I’ve got tons at Spring Training games when the crowd’s smaller and they’re easier to get to, but at an MLB game with thousands of fans it gets a lot harder.

Catching a ball means you’ve got an excellent souvenir to bring home, catching two balls means you’ve pretty much won the lottery, right? I mean, how many fans go to games and never catch a ball throughout their entire lives?

This Oakland A’s fan caught two foul balls yesterday, on back-to-back swings in the 6th inning, and the crowd went wild for him because he made great plays on both of the balls. We didn’t even talk about that! How your hands always seem to turn into butter fingers whenever that foul ball comes flying your way. Some fans carry baseball gloves to the game but they look like dingbats if they don’t catch a ball. And fans who try and catch the ball but drop it get laughed at. Not this guy. This dude in the Riviera Maya sleeveless shirt made an excellent play:

Not all heroes wear sleeves.
