Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Says He Runs In The 4.3, Squats 500 lbs, More Insane Workout Numbers

Ohio State Buckeyes’s star wide receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr., is setting his sights on an impressive 40-yard dash time as he gears up for the 2024 Draft.

The highly-touted prospect, projected to be a top 5 pick, shared his aspirations with The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman in a recent interview.

“I’m aiming for the high 4.3s; 4.38 would be my goal,” Harrison Jr. stated confidently. He emphasized the importance of a solid start and expressed belief that his exceptional top-end speed would naturally shine through during the run.

At 6’4″ and 208 pounds, Harrison Jr.’s physical prowess stands out.

The comparison to his father, former Indianapolis Colts Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr., is intriguing. Harrison Sr. clocked a 4.38 40-yard dash time at 6’0″ and 185 pounds during his playing days.

Harrison Jr. also bench pressing 380 lbs, achieved 20 reps of 225 lbs on the bench, squats an impressive 500 lbs, a 10’8″ broad jump, and reaching a maximum speed of 23.5 MPH.

Harrison Jr.’s drive to elevate his physical capabilities and cement his status as an elite draft prospect highlights his determination and focus as he prepares for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
