The Ohio State Buckeyes struggled to separate themselves from the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the first half of Saturday’s matchup at Ohio Stadium.
Despite being 28-point underdogs, the Buckeyes led just 14-3 with the clock winding down in the first half. The Huskers were driving with the clock under a minute, hoping to cut the lead to 14-10.
But instead, Nebraska wide receiver Isaiah Neyor was called for offensive pass interference, stalling out the drive and forcing the Huskers to kick a lengthy field goal to make the score 14-6 at the break.

Not only could Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule not believe the call, neither could the end college football world.
How is that offensive pass interference on Nebraska? They are being hosed on this drive

The Huskers also appeared to get hosed earlier in the quarter on a first-down run that marked short.
When an official misses a call so badly — not giving Nebraska a first down on Johnson’s run — you can’t help but wonder if there’s some sort of foul play going on.
It’s really an egregious miss.

“Nebraska out here getting screwed,” one fan tweeted. “First they called the runner short when he was CLEARLY a full yard past the first down marker and then they called this offensive pass interference.”
The Huskers’ offense is bad enough already. They don’t need the refs’ help. But it seems like they’re going to get it either way.
