A week after former Georgia quarterback Justin Fields announced his decision to transfer to Ohio State, Buckeyes redshirt freshman quarterback Tate Martell decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal which allows other programs to contact him to gauge his interest if he chooses to leave Ohio State.
Can confirm: Tate Martell is in the NCAA transfer portal. Allows him the opportunity to speak to another school about a possible transfer from Ohio State.

Martell’s move wasn’t very surprising considering the circumstances but fans were caught off guard by the revelation that his real name was “Tathan”.
