The Miami Hurricanes are headed to the National Championship, but not without some controversy.
Late in the 4th quarter of the college football playoffs semifinal game between Miami and Ole Miss, Rebels QB Trinidad Chambliss attempted to drive the ball up the field to lead his team to a win in the final minute of the game.
After getting to midfield, Chambliss threw a Hail Mary pass on the final play of the game which was knocked down by the Hurricanes’ defense.
During the play, a Hurricanes defender and an Ole Miss wide receiver were seen battling for position, and many felt it was pass interference by the Miami defense.

ESPN’s officiating analyst Bill LeMonnier said that it wasn’t pass interference but “mutual combat” between the two players.
