The Ole Miss Women’s Tennis team has an interesting giveaway planned for its match against LSU on Sunday, and they want everyone to know that it definitely does not have anything to do with Juice Kiffin.

For the uninitiated, Juice Kiffin is a three-year-old Golden British Labrador Retriever owned by former Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin. Juice regularly made appearances with Lane on social media, at Ole Miss football games, and everywhere in between, serving as an unofficial mascot for the school.

But when Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss to take the head coaching job at LSU, he seemingly left Juice behind!

Ultimately, Lane did come back for the pup! But only after rejecting an offer from an Ole Miss booster to buy Juice in some sort of bizarre Cruella de Vil type scenario.

“Would do anything to buy the dog. He is meant to hunt and the fact he would be taken away from doing what he loves breaks my heart more than anything,” the booster said.

However, as everyone knows, dogs are family. You don’t just leave them behind like some sort of second-rate SEC football program!

Anyways, back to the Ole Miss women’s tennis program…

On Friday, the program announced a giveaway for its match against LSU on Sunday. The giveaway involved a stuffed animal that looks curiously like Juice Kiffin.

However, it is definitely not Juice Kiffin, as they explained in a tweet!

“Come support your Rebs this Sunday against LSU and receive a generic yellow lab with red bandana stuffed animal!” the post said.

See, it’s just a generic yellow lab. NOT JUICE KIFFIN.

Which is probably a good thing for Juice, because the generic yellow lab looks a little bit creepy, if we’re being honest. While Juice, a very good boy, is not creepy at all.
