Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes appeared in a recently posted GQ “Couples Quiz” and fans couldn’t believe how awkward and cringeworthy it was. Many couldn’t believe they have been together since 2023 with how little they seem to know about one another.
In the video, Dunne and Skene are tested on their knowledge about one another. Things like what Dunne’s favorite cheat day meal is and where they met are among the questions that are asked. Pretty pedestrian stuff. (Which is why people found it so strange that they didn’t know the answers to so many.)
For example, the first question Olivia Dunne asked Paul Skenes was what her favorite gymnastics move is. He replied, “a double tuck through layout.” He was wrong, but she wanted to award him half a point because the answer is a “double layout” and he said the word “double.” Yeah. He then added that he “just made up the double tuck through thing.” So, it was a heck of a guess.
Further along in the quiz, Paul Skenes asked Dunne if she knew what his first job was. She had no idea. Many baseball fans, however, would have known that he was in the Air Force.
Skenes was also asked what Dunne’s proudest moment is. He replied winning the national championship (in which she didn’t actually compete). It wasn’t. Then he said her Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot. Wrong again. After a few hints (i.e. her basically telling him), it was winning gold as a member of Team USA.
And on and on it went. It really did drag. Especially since Paul Skenes looked like he would literally rather be doing anything else throughout the entire thing.
Fans were stunned that Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes seem to know so little about one another
“Had they ever met prior to this interview?” one person asked, while another wrote, “I’ve seen less awkward job interviews.”
“Two strangers talking,” someone else commented. Multiple others just cringed at Olivia Dunne using the word “simping.”
“I’ve seen fewer red flags at a bull run,” read another comment, while someone else asked, “Do they even like each other?”
Several viewers were also left unimpressed by Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes’ personalities.
“It’s amazing that both of these people have the charisma of a wet blanket,” one viewer commented. Another comment read, “Personality of a used washcloth, the both of ’em.”
