The last time we checked in on LSU superstar gymnast Olivia Dunne, she was traveling the country alongside star boyfriend Paul Skenes as he works his way through the minor leagues.

But make no mistake.

Dunne is still plenty focus on her own ever-growing brand.

The social media superstar is one of TikTok’s most-followed athletes, with near eight million people keeping tabs on the blonde bombshell.

Dunne has become the poster child for the Name, Imagine and Likeness era of NCAA sports. And now she’s sharing her secrets with the world.

In a recent interview and photo shoot with Forbes.com, Dunne revealed how college athletes can best capitalize on their brands using NIL.

“I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be at the head of NIL and I just wanted it to be equal,” Dunne said of her journey to stardom. “I want women to be at the forefront of this NIL. And I think it’s really important that they have equal opportunities for these deals. Because there’s not a lot of professional leagues for women’s sports after college. So I think it’s really important to capitalize on it now.”

But how should those women go about capitalizing on their brand while the iron is hot?

“I would say first and foremost, have a trustworthy team behind you,” Dunne said of building a brand. “Because when you can go back to people that you trust every single day, it helps so much. And also that you are more than just your sport. And I think that’s the coolest thing about NIL, is that you could do your sport and you could also be a musician, you could do whatever you want and capitalize on that. It doesn’t need to just be social media.”

Dunne sits third among all college athletes in On3’s NIL 100, with a valuation of $3.2 million. Bronny James sits atop the list at a whopping $5.9 million. While Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders is second at $4.8 million.
