Oregon head coach Dan Lanning apparently had a lot on his mind going into the much-hyped Colorado-Oregon game.
For the past three weeks, Sanders and Colorado have become media darlings and have found themselves talking trash to every team they’ve faced.
Unfortunately for Colorado, they ran into Oregon in their fourth game and found themselves in a quick 21-0 hole in the first half.
Before the game, Lanning gave his team a riveting speech ripping into Sanders and the Buffaloes for being Hollywood in everything they do.
“Rooted in substance not flash, today we talk with our pads, you talk with your helmets, every moment…the Cinderella moment is over, they’re fighting for clicks, we’re fighting for wins, there’s a difference, this game isn’t going to be played in Hollywood, it’s going to be played in the grass”
