Packers Kick Returner Ty Montgomery Brilliantly Exploits Flaw In NFL Rulebook To His Advantage

Stanford alum Ty Montgomery has figured a brilliant loophole in the NFL rulebook to allow to his to gain a ton of yards without much effort.

On the kickoff, the Detroit Lions kicked the ball near three-yard line. Rather than picking the ball up Montgomery stepped out of bounds before diving on top of it while his feet remained out of bounds.

The NFL rulebook states that if the ball comes into contact with a player that is out of bounds, the ball is considered out of bounds. As a result, the Packers got the ball on the 40-yard line.

Good stuff.
