Where in the world is Paige Bueckers?! That has been a very difficult question to answer over the last few months as the UConn women’s basketball star travels the world.
However, she is an academic weapon and made sure to be in class on Monday morning!
Bueckers, the presumptive No. 1 overall pick in next year’s WNBA draft, is making good money through Name, Image and Likeness. Women’s hoops is more popular than ever so her brand continues to grow, which led to an incredible series of opportunities for the 22-year-old.
As a result, she has been traveling— a lot. Part of Bueckers’ busy summer was for business. Part of it was for pleasure. Some of the different stops include:
- Minnesota State Fair
- ESPYs in Los Angeles
- Seattle Storm game to support Nika Muhl
- Minnesota Twins game to throw out the first pitch
- WNBA All-Star game in Phoenix
- Minnesota Lynx game to support former teammates
- Overtime Select tournament to coach with Flau’jae Johnson
- Connecticut casino with rapper A Boogie
- Multiple photoshoots in L.A. and New York
Classes got underway at the University of Connecticut on August 26. The first semester is underway. That didn’t stop Paige Bueckers from getting out of Storrs!
She and Azzi Fudd sat in Coco Gauff’s box at the U.S. Open on Aug. 30.
One day later, they were in Uncasville, Conn. to watch Muhl and the Storm play against the Sun. As soon as the final buzzer sound, they headed right back to New York to watch Frances Tiafoe.
Bueckers was back in the Big Apple over this past weekend. She and Fudd attended multiple events as part of New York Fashion Week.

They also went to Usher’s concert at the Barclays Center and returned to the U.S Open for a second-straight weekend.
UConn’s biggest stars even hit the gym with Steph Curry and Jaylen Brown.
As if that wasn’t busy enough, Fudd and Bueckers attended Sunday’s WNBA game between the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces. They sat next to Curry, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and Klay Thompson.

Highsnobiety asked Paige Bueckers about her “guilty pleasure lately” at some point during Fashion Week. Her response was tongue-in-cheek… probably.
Ha, not doing my homework. Nah, I’m kidding. I mean, everybody’s been saying, ‘Why aren’t you in school?’ I’ve been doing my schoolwork, too, but I’m traveling as well. So I don’t feel guilty about it. But, I mean, I guess people are trying to make me feel guilty about, like, still being on the world tour while school started, but I’m chilling, I’m good.

She also reminded everybody that she has already graduated!
UConn women’s basketball’s official account commented on an Instagram post of Fudd and Bueckers at the Barclays Center on Sunday. It said: “come home, you have class tomorrow 💙”
Have no fear, she was there!
The Huskies will start practice in about a month. Summer is over and class is in session, but there are still a few more weeks for Paige Bueckers to continue the world tour!
