We had a pretty scary scene in the Panthers-Redskins game.
Midway through the third quarter, Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Anderson delivered a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit on longtime Panthers TE Greg Olsen that knocked Olsen out cold on the field.

Anderson was penalized and later ejected for the hit.

Also would be seen heading towards the locker room after the hit.
The Panthers are without Pro Bowl TE Greg Olsen, in the locker room after vicious hit to the head by Washington linebacker Ryan Anderson, who has been ejected. https://t.co/jsiaAW6Zar

Redskins fans were not happy with the ejection.
How is Ryan Anderson ejected from the game for an incidental helmet-to-helmet hit on Greg Olsen, who also lowered his helmet, but the guy who blasted a defenseless Trey Quinn is allowed to stay in the game? On what planet does that make sense? #Redskins

I have seen way more egregious helmet to helmet hits with less punishment. That’s ridiculous that Anderson got ejected. How did the Carolina player that tried to kill Trey Quinn not get ejected?

Wow – they ejected Ryan Anderson after not ejecting DeAndrew White earlier. Zero consistency. Zero.
