Indianapolis Colts punter and certified Bro Pat McAfree turned in the play of the game during last night’s shootout victory over the Houston Texans. And when a kicker delivers the marquee moment in a game with 61 points, you know his exploits were pretty special.
Up 3-0 early in the first quarter, McAfee simply dribbled a kickoff 10 yards before pouncing on it himself. It looked like he was taking candy from a baby.
It was McAfee’s third successful onside kick this year. No one else in the NFL has even one successful try to his name.
You simply can’t stop this guy. He’s a one-man wrecking crew.
Armed with the free possession, Andrew Luck and the Colts drove down for their first touchdown of the night.
Sick work, Bro. Sick work indeed.
