ESPN’s Pat McAfee is facing a bit of backlash over his latest Caitlin Clark comments.

On Monday, McAfee went on a rant defending Clark from WNBA media coverage after this weekend’s incident, where Clark was shoved to the ground by Chennedy Carter.

During his rant, McAfee insisted that Clark is by far the most popular rookie in the league, and it’s because of her skill, not because she’s white.

McAfee would describe Clark as that “white b—- from the Indiana team who is a superstar.”

“I would like the media people that continue to say, ‘This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class’. Nah, just call it for what it is — there’s one white b—-for the Indiana team who is a superstar.”

“Is there a chance that people just enjoy watching her play basketball because of how electrifying she is….but instead we all have to hear that we all like her because she’s white and she’s only popular because the rest of the rookie class is doing what they’re doing, well that’s a bunch of bullsh–”

McAfee immediately faced backlash over his comments, especially for referring to Clark as a white b—-‘
