Patrick Mahomes may have made the best throw of his career and his teammate let him down and didn’t catch it.
Early in the fourth quarter on fourth down near the the red zone, an injured Mahomes was able to scramble despite limping around and made an insane diving throw for about thirty yards. Unfortunately, the ball hit Chiefs running back Darrel Williams in the helmet and he dropped the ball.

That ball hit Darrel Williams in the face. And his hands were as far away from his body as they could be at that exact moment.
