Some gamblers are not happy with Patrick Mahomes’ game-ending play.
Ahead of the game, the Chiefs were listed as 7.5-point favorites vs. the Jets.
Late in the game, the Chiefs were up three points and would have easily covered the spread with A Mahomes touchdown, but he decided to slide and run out of the close instead of scoring.

Those who bet on the Chiefs -7.5 were absolutely sickened by Mahomes’ selfless move at the end of the game.

According to The Action Network, Vegas made a ton of money from Mahomes’ slide.
At Caesars, about 96% of all bettors were on the Chiefs’ spread, which waffled between -7.5 and -9 at the sportsbook. At BetMGM, roughly 90% of the money was on the Chiefs to cover at more than a touchdown. Sportsbooks made out like bandits.
