Patrick Mahomes Sr. is once again facing legal issues.
Last year, Mahomes Sr. was sentenced to five years’ probation when he was arrested on Feb 3, 2024, in Texas, after being pulled over for drinking and driving.
The arrest came days before his son was set to play in the Super Bowl, something he told police officers while getting arrested.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Mahomes Sr. was back under arrest after his ankle monitor went off due to a high alcohol reading.
The District Attorney confirmed to us Mahomes Sr. was jailed for a probation violation … with the probation violation report stating he had a high alcohol reading on his SCRAM alcohol ankle monitor on Jan. 1.
The doc states Mahomes provided urine samples later on both Jan. 5 and 9, and the results were negative for alcohol.
Mahomes Sr. has been arrested several times for driving while intoxicated and faced 10 years in prison before taking a plea deal.
The elder Mahomes is currently awaiting a court date following his latest arrest.
