Ravens kicker Justin Tucker appeared to get under the Chiefs skin before Sunday’s AFC championship game.
Hours before the game, Tucker was practicing kicks near the Ravens end zone. When Patrick Mahomes arrived to practice, Travis Kelce told Tucker to move and began throwing Tucker’s balls off the field.
Travis Kelce told Justin Tucker he needed to move because their QB Patrick Mahomes had to warm up. So Kelce kicked his ball away and threw his helmet. 😂 pic.twitter.com/pFF0DC1yA7

Tucker apparently refused to move, which led to Mahomes kicking his placeholder out of the way.

According to James Palmer, who captured the video, the interaction between Tucker and Mahomes wasn’t a friendly one.
“This did get a little bit chippy between Mahomes and Kelce and Justin Tucker, you saw what was happening there, they all tried to warm up in the exact same spot…Kelce was pleading with Justin Tucker, this is the spot my quarterback has to warm up pregame. Tucker I guess didn’t back up all that much, Mahomes had some words with him as well…essentially we have a bit of a turf war going on at M&T Bank center.
