Patriots Jakobi Meyers Commits Biggest Bonehead Play In NFL History And Cost His Team The Game Vs Raiders

New England Patriots terrible play

CBS

Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers made history on Sunday by committing the biggest bonehead play in NFL history.

In the final play of a tie game, the Patriots decided to run the ball to run out the clock to go to overtime. For whatever reason, Pats running back Rhamondre Stevenson decided to pitch the ball pack to Meyers, and Meyers decided to throw the ball towards Mac Jones. The Raiders picked off Meyers’ pitch for a game-ending touchdown.

Poor Mac Jones got absolutely destroyed on the play, thanks to Meyers’ boneheaded play.

Update: Meyers admitted after the game that he was “doing too much”
