Concerns have risen regarding the knee health of the New England Patriots’ latest wide receiver addition, JuJu Smith-Schuster.
NFL reporter Albert Breer, in an appearance on NBC Sports Boston, shared his apprehensions, stating, “The underrated story here: JuJu Smith-Schuster’s knee is a mess, and that thing could explode at any point. So, you almost have to keep an extra receiver because of that.”

This revelation comes after the Patriots signed Smith-Schuster to a lucrative 3-year, $33 million contract during the free-agency period, choosing him over retaining Jakobi Meyers, who inked a similar contract with the Raiders.
In response to the concerning report, JuJu Smith-Schuster himself addressed the situation, expressing his confidence in his knee’s recovery.
He stated, “I don’t think my knee is a ticking time bomb. If anything, it’s something that’s getting stronger every day.”
