The NFL rumor mill is in full swing right now, although, not many moves have come to fruition in the past couple of days.

Regardless, we could be on the verge of seeing a big trade or two, as multiple players have been rumored to be involved in trades.

The New England Patriots now enter the chat, as reports indicate the franchise is shopping Mac Jones amid their dramatic offseason.

According to Pro Football Network, “Belichick has shopped Jones to multiple teams during the 2023 offseason.”

“The full list of potential destinations isn’t known. The teams mentioned as potential destinations were the Raiders, Texans, Buccaneers, and Commanders.”

Perhaps we should have seen this coming, as recent reports claimed there’s drama within the Patriots’ organization right now.

In fact, it sounds like Bill Belichick is still bothered by Mac Jones seeking outside help just a season ago.

On top of that, rumors also claim that Belichick is on the hot seat. The Patriots have been less than stellar since Tom Brady’s departure and Robert Kraft’s patience might be wearing thin.

Amid these trade reports, the Patriots’ owner seems to like Mac Jones. According to Pro Football Talk, Kraft seems to want Jones to stick around.

“I’m a big fan of Mac. He came to us as a rookie. He quarterbacked in his rookie season and did a very fine job I thought. We made the playoffs.”

“I think we experimented with some things last year that frankly didn’t work when it came to him, in my opinion.”

With that said, issues continue to rise within the Patriots’ organization. Regardless, Mac Jones may just be on the trade block. If that’s the case, perhaps New England will pull off a trade during the NFL Draft.
