Pats Rookie Tried To Gift Bill Belichick Ball During Game And Belichick Ruthlessly Turned Him Down

Pats rookie Brendan Schooler has a lot to learn about Bill Belichick.

During Sunday’s Pats-Browns game, undrafted rookie recovered a muffed punt late in the fourth quarter.

Schooler tried to gift the ball to his coach, who had just tied George Halas with the second-most wins all-time, but Belichick wasn’t interested at all and ruthlessly ignored the rookie. Eventually a Pats assistant took the ball while a confused Belichick looked on.

Fans thought Belichick’s reaction to Schooler’s gift was hilarious.
