Many of us dreamt of being in an NFL locker room as kids, usually as a player, possibly as a coach. But, one Philadelphia Eagles fan lived out his dream by slipping by security into the locker room following the team’s win against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Here’s Pro Football Talk with more.
“After the game, one specific Eagles fan took the infiltration to the next level.
Via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, a fan of Philly’s football team somehow snuck into the locker room along with reporters. The fan approached receiver A.J. Brown, who did not recognize the person and alerted the team.
“I feared for my life,” Brown joked about the situation.”
A.J. Brown is joking, of course, but this is not a good look at all for SoFi Stadium. The part of the stadium where security should be the most impenetrable are the locker rooms. Whether it’s for a concert or a sporting event, that’s where the athletes/performers are at their most vulnerable. This is a pretty embarrassing lapse of security by them, and people are. going to get fired for this.
As for the guy who broke into the Philadelphia Eagles locker room, he’s lucky he didn’t suffer serious injury when security realized that he wasn’t supposed to be in there. It’s not worth it, guaranteed.
The Eagles take on the Jets next Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
