There are conflicting reports regarding the Eagles’ feelings about the White House. Over the weekend, the US Sun reported that the Eagles would not accept an invitation after winning the Super Bowl.

“A source at the Eagles, who spoke anonymously, stressed that conversations about refusing a visit with President Donald Trump after beating the Kansas City Chiefs have already occurred, “A well-placed insider said that recent discussions between the players and the Eagles front office resulted in a ‘massive no’ when asked if they would accept an invitation to the nation’s capital.”

According to OutKick’s Clay Travis, the White House is now denying the US Sun’s report and are saying the Eagles have yet to be invited by President Trump.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is now reporting that the Eagles would accept an invite to the White House.

“The #Eagles would be honored to visit The White House, team sources say. It’s one of the aspects of winning they are excited about and look forward to receiving the invitation.”
