The New York Mets sent their NL East rival Philadelphia Phillies packing after just four NLDS games despite the fact that the Phillies were the favorites in the series.
Given the heated and long-running rivalry between New York and Philly, the Phillies’ loss to the OMG Grimace Mets has its fanbase feeling some type of way, such as this queen who hilarious detailed how the loss might push her to AA or institutionalization.
“So there’s a couple of low points in my life, my dog passing away and them hitting a grand slam. The grand slam took the cake,” Phillies fan Courtney O’Neil told WFMZ-TV from the city’s famed sports complex Xfinity Live.
“I feel like I might either check into AA, therapy, or an institute of some sort, because this is crap. It’s bull crap… I want everyone gone. I want the bartenders gone, I want Xfinity gone, I want my best friend gone. I want them all gone. This is bull crap.”
Phillies fans are handling their team’s playoff exit well.

With the win over the Phillies, the New York Mets advanced to their first National League Championship Series since 2015, where they’ll take on either the Los Angeles Dodgers or San Diego Padres for the NL pennant.
Game 1 of the NLCS will be on Sunday, October 13. Whomever the Mets ultimately face off against, they’ll likely be underdogs in the series.
