Christian Pulisic is used to making headlines for his exploits on the soccer field.
Whether it’s with his club, Chelsea, or with the United States Men’s National Team, Pulisic is a game-changing type of player. He made headlines for different reasons on Wednesday, though, as he showed up to USMNT training with a haircut straight of the Backstreet Boys Millennium album cover.

Now, Pulisic has earned the right to look just about anyway he wants. The 23-year-old Pennsylvania native led the USA back to the FIFA World Cup after missing the 2018 competition. He’s a UEFA Champions League winner with Chelsea in 2021. And his $73 million move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea made him by far the world’s most valuable American player in terms of transfer value.

But this is the internet, and as everyone on the internet knows, anyone can get these jokes at any given time. So Twitter did its thing and Pulisic felt the full force of its wrath.
Don't really want to make it tough
I just want to tell you that I've had enough
It might sound crazy but it ain't no lie

My hair colorist side is guessing at the method here…I just have to assume someone’s mom pulled it through a cap like all the annoying kids in my 6th grade class https://t.co/bhZ7VHSjNu

It's probably gonna start a fight
You say that it's not right
Hey pass it c'monI dribble endlessly
No progression to me
So now it's time to go & do it aloneI know that I can't take no more
It ain't no lie
I wanna see the ball some more

It’s also possible that Pulisic was just channeling former USA star Landon Donovan, who famously dyed his hair blonde as well.

Regardless of the reasoning, it’s clear the vibes are off the charts right now with CP10. That’s a good sign for USA fans as the World Cup quickly approaches.
