There’s some college football drama surrounding the Washington Huskies.
Last week, it was reported that QB Demond Williams had signed an NIL deal to play for the Washington Huskies.

On Tuesday night, Williams shockingly announced that he planned to enter the transfer portal just days after signing his contract with Washington.
“I have to do what is best for me and my future. After much thought and prayer, I will be entering the transfer portal.”

According to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, Washington plans to force Williams to honor his contract.
Demond Williams signed what Washington officials describe as a legally binding revenue-share contract with the school. The university plans to pursue legal avenues and has been in contact with officials from Big Ten, who draft rev-share contracts for its league members. https://t.co/3HpW5qduSy

Washington officials believe another school is tampering with Williams.
Washington officials suspect that another school contacted Demond Williams after he signed and plan on submitting evidence of tampering. The university used a template Big Ten agreement – the same used by Wisconsin, which filed suit against Miami last summer over similar charges. https://t.co/0Cl8IAungr
