Netflix has released the first official trailer for Quarterback, their upcoming docuseries about the following trio of NFL signal callers: Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, and Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons (at the time).

Quarterback is the latest sports docuseries from Netflix following the success of the F1-focused show Drive To Survive, which also led to the creation of Break Point (tennis) and Full Swing (golf).

Here is the official synopsis for Quarterback, according to Netflix:

Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons QB Marcus Mariota, and reigning Super Bowl champion and MVP Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs give you an unprecedented, all access look into the 2022-2023 football season from their huddles to their homes and more.

See what it takes to have the toughest job in sports both on and off the field as players balance the mental, physical, and personal pressures to perform every week. Get inside the huddles and on the sidelines for the biggest moments of victory and heartbreak with players mic’ed up for every game.

Netflix undoubtedly lucked out with the quarterbacks they chose for the first season of the series, as Patrick Mahomes not only won an MVP award and a Super Bowl title, but Marcus Mariota also basically abandoned his Atlanta Falcons teammates in the middle of the season.

Then, of course, there’s Kirk Cousins, who is the equivalent of putting low fat mayo on a piece of white bread and then throwing it at a wall, where you then sit in a folding chair and watch it until it unsticks and finally hits the floor.

All the episodes of Quarterback will begin streaming on Netflix in the United States on Wednesday, July 12.
