In their first game following the firing of former coach Josh McDaniels, the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Giants 30-6 on Sunday.
McDaniels was let go last week after losing 16 losses out of 25 games in his tenure.
The Raiders now hold a 4-5 record, with a 1-0 start under new interim coach Antonio Pierce.
After the game, Pierce delivered a fiery locker room speech that quickly went viral. Notably, wide receiver Davante Adams, who was visibly frustrated on the sidelines during McDaniels’ final game—a 26-14 loss to the Lions—appeared to be invigorated by Pierce’s leadership.
Towards the end of the video, Pierce knew exactly what to say to fire everyone up: “I’ll see you mother f—— on Wednesday!” with the win earning the players a couple of days off.

Not only did they win, the Raiders finally scored more than 21 points in a game for the first time this season.
Other viral post-game videos showcased players, including star pass-rusher, enjoying cigars with team owner Mark Davis, highlighting the positive atmosphere within the team as they move on from the McDaniels era.

It was reported prior to the Giants game that players and coaches had a meeting where they “ripped” into Josh McDaniels prior to his firing but the mood within the team certainly did a 180 now that he’s gone.
