Another UFC legend is interested in taking on Jake Paul. Two weeks ago, Paul took on 58-year-old Mike Tyson in Arlington, Texas, in a fight that was widely panned by critics.
One vocal critic of the fight was Conor McGregor, who took shots at Paul for fighting an aging fighter.
Paul fired back at McGregor by offering to fight him in MMA.
“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t” said Paul on X.
Jackson saw Paul’s post and has now issued a challenged to the Youtuber-turned boxer.
“Yo @jakepaul watch how you talk to MMA royalty,I’ll fight you in MMA no weight class for no pay. That’s a great deal.. but i bet YOU won’t. Stop disrespecting people in my f–en sport homie. You fighting Tyson was your last straw.. go back to boxing wrestlers.”
The 46-year-old Jackson, who is currently slated to fight Rashad Evans, spoke about wanting to fight Paul during an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s show.
