Former MMA star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson says he has cut off his son Raja Jackson after his brutal attack on wrestler Syko Stu. He also thinks his son “should do a little time” as part of the process of getting his life in order. Quinton Jackson made these remarks and many others during a lengthy interview on The Ariel Helwani Show on Wednesday.

Quinton Jackson is upset with people coming after him

The interview began with Quinton Jackson expressing how upset he is that people are coming after him, as if he was the one who beat Syko Stu.

“I think because he’s my son and his father, as a public figure, and they they want to come after me, like, people automatically assume that that I’m going to defend my son and I’m going to like try to pay people off and get him out of trouble,” he said. “I’m just as mad at Raja as they are.

“I’m just as mad because Raja lied to me because I was live streaming when he got hit over the head with the can and I called him like, ‘Son, what’s going on?’ Like, ‘What you doing?’ And he didn’t tell me nothing about them working him into a match so he can get his revenge, so he get his payback because he know I would have told him take his a– home because he just because the day before he just got almost got knocked out in the gym.”

Where is Raja Jackson?

He claims that his son Raja Jackson was told to just hit Syko Stu one time to get his “receipt”, but “he took it to himself to hit him a little bit too much.”

“Now Raja was wrong. As soon as soon as Syko Stu got knocked out from that slam, Raja should have like like left him alone,” Jackson continued. “He shouldn’t hit him no more. Like you all right, you got your payback and stuff like that. Raja took it too far and you know, but I don’t appreciate people paying attention to misinformation. They people just took this stuff and took it out of proportion and to get clicks and and to get money from from social media or whatever they do and they just saying like my son snuck into a ring like he wasn’t supposed to be there and that’s not fair.”

Quinton Jackson was then asked what Raja has been doing since the night of the attack. He claims that he has no idea, adding, “I don’t talk to Raja no more.”

As for where Raja is, Quinton said he is probably at home. “I was going to turn him in. We’ve been waiting for arrest warrant or whatever. I got him am attorney. I did what my job is as a father to, you know, still take care of my son because I still love him even though how upset I am at my son. I still love him. You know what I’m saying? He’s my son. But ever since he’s become an adult he don’t listen to s— I say.”

Rampage is mad at Syko Stu for not defending him

He then said he was mad that Syko Stu didn’t speak out and help get all of the racists to stop threatening him on social media. “I wanted Syko Stu to tell his part that son did not sneak up on him. And I never heard him say that. So now I’m now I’m upset. Now I’m upset. Now I’m upset with Syko Stu because he didn’t come out and say, ‘Oh, whoa, whoa. Yeah, what Raja did was f—— up, but he didn’t sneak in the ring and do this. The s— was staged.’ That’s that’s all he had to say
to to get some of these racist a—— out of my DMs.”

Perhaps Syko Stu didn’t reach out and say anything because he has been in the hospital with “trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth,” according to his wife.

Should Raja Jackson go to jail?

When asked if his son Raja should go to jail, Quinton Jackson said he should, “if the judge thinks he should go to jail.”

“I think Raja should go to jail so he’ll learn not to do this s— no more,” he said. “Like you got to control your emotions. And I think I’m not saying, like people say, he should go to jail for, you know, 10 years. No, he should go to jail and not prison. He should he should go to jail, do a little time and then get some therapy and learn from this.”
