Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is at the center of yet another disturbing allegation, as his ex-girlfriend Dacoda Nichole has accused him of domestic abuse and shared apparent photo evidence.

In an Instagram post, Dacoda Nichole accused Rashee Rice of years of ongoing domestic violence, including while she was pregnant. Alongside her allegations, Nichole shared over a dozen photos meant to serve as proof of Rice’s alleged violence against her.

Rice was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 regular season after he plead guilty to two third-degree felonies for his involvement in a March 2024 hit-and-run street racing crash in Dallas, Texas.

Rashee Rice’s ex-girlfriend Dacoda Nichole accuses him of “years” of domestic violence in disturbing Instagram post

“I’m so tired of keeping quiet I’m so tired of protecting his image. I’ve been through too much in a span of 8 years and I’ve had ENOUGH! I’ve dealt with abuse for years, me and this man decided to break up a couple months ago and since then it’s been nothing but hell,” she wrote on Instagram.

“He’s very controlling there’s been times he’s came to my new home broken my door, there’s been times when he would put his hands on me while I was pregnant even had the audacity to lock me outside all night in ten degree weather because he got caught cheating. He’s cut up all my shoes and clothes leaving me with nothing because he’s gotten caught up. And there’s multiple instances of cheating but besides that I’m just tired of him not doing right by my boys. It’s not fair he doesn’t call them. He rather be layed up with hoes,” Nichole continued.

“He literally left us in Kansas and I had to beg him to send money so that I could drive to Texas with my kids and all our stuff. We have an agreement because of everything he’s put me through and he still doesn’t follow it. He’s now trying to remove me and my kids from our home for no apparent reason. I’ve known this man for YEARS. He tries to put on this persona like he’s dad of the year. He does the bare minimum and I have to beg for that. I’ve protected his image too long and I’m done doing that. It’s time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself.”

After these latest allegations against Rashee Rice went viral, NFL fans ripped the Kansas City Chiefs for blindly standing by Rice throughout the season, including going as far as wearing t-shirts that said “Free 4” on them.

“I hope they feel stupid for wearing these,” read a viral tweet alongside images of Travis Kelce and Tyquan Thorton wearing the t-shirts.

“The Kansas City chiefs were doomed this season in terms of karma the moment they wore these shirts for Rashee Rice to be ‘freed’ as if he wasn’t a scumbag,” a second added.

“Cannot be overstated that the Chiefs rallying cry this season was a twitter gimmick making fun of this guys PR attempt after nearly killing a guy speeding and fleeing the scene,” a third agreed.

“I’m so f—— sick of the NFL community normalizing violence against women. COLLEGE SCOUTS warned about Rashee Rice as an off-field liability. He’s ALREADY proven to be exactly that. I’m over it. There is NO world in which I want to see Rice back in a Chiefs uniform in 2026,” an angry Chiefs fan raged.

At this time, no official charges against Rice have been filed. The NFL — who is facing increased scrutiny for its seemingly lax stance on domestic violence — will investigate the matter regardless of whether or not legal action is officially taken. The unfortunate reality of the NFL, however, is that the Chiefs are likely to stand by Rice as long as they can given his ability to produce on the field and his status as the team’s #1 wide receiver.
