Baltimore Ravens fan John Callis, who was wanted for assaulting two Washington Commanders fans on Sunday, October 13, has turned himself in to police.

Following video of Callis assaulting two Commanders fans, completely unprovoked, went viral, he was quickly identified and charged on Oct. 17 with first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault by Baltimore Police.

WBAL News reports that charging documents claim John Callis, wearing a purple Lamar Jackson Ravens jersey, first encountered one of the victims, wearing a Commanders jersey, at 9:42 p.m. and began “aggressively grabbing and punching victim #1 in his facial area.”

Three minutes later, according to one of the videos that went viral of the attacks, two of the victims encountered Callis at 9:45 p.m. when they returned to look for a cell phone they believe was lost in the first scuffle.

At that point, charging documents claim Callis began “forcefully punching victim #1 on the left side of his head and causing victim #1 body to go completely limp while falling in an unconscious state towards a nearby parked vehicle and hitting his head on the vehicle’s left side door…”

“I don’t lose! I don’t f—— lose!” Callis can be heard shouting after knocking one of the victims out and then throwing the other victim against a brick facade.

On Monday, the 24-year-old turned himself in to Baltimore Police, who posted images to social media of Callis being taken into custody with his hands cuffed behind his back.

The first-degree assault charge against Callis is a felony punishable with up to 25 years in prison in the State of Maryland, while second-degree assault, if classified as a misdemeanor, carries a maximum of 10 years in prison and/or a $2,500 fine.

As a result of his arrest and the videos that led to it, John Callis has already been fired from his job at the Maury Donnelly and Parr, Inc. insurance agency.

“MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior,” the company said in a statement posted to X on Oct. 14.
