Ray Rice won his appeal of his indefinite suspension from the NFL and is eligible to sign with any team effective immediately. Rice was suspended indefinitely by the NFL after video of the assault of his wife Janay Rice in an Atlantic City casino was made public earlier this year
Rice was originally suspended for two games, which was changed by NFL comisioner Roger Goodell after the assault video was leaked. The judge in this case ruled that Ray Rice told the truth and the video provided no new information to warrant a second suspension.
Rice who was released by the Baltimore Ravens is eligible to be signed by any team but it’s doubtful that any team is willing to take the PR hit this season.
