It’s been a pretty bizarre day in the NFL.
In the early slate of games, we saw a kicker recover his own kick during a kickoff and now a ref has caused a fumble by hitting the ball with a penalty flag.
In the first quarter of the Jaguars-Cardinals game, Rondale Moore was set to field a punt but the ref threw a flag and unknowingly hit the ball in the air with a penalty flag resulting in a fumble.

Thankfully the Cardinals recovered and there was no controversy on the play.
