It’s the playoffs but it seems like refs are still making terrible calls this postseason.
With the Cowboys inching towards field goal range late in the second quarter, refs believe a Rams player was “in the grasp” of Dak Prescott and called the play dead when it was obvious that Dak got tied up with offensive lineman La’el Collins with no Rams player nearby.
In the grasp? More like two-hand touch. Bizarre. And not the right call. #CowboysNation #FinishThisFight #DALvsLAR @fishsports pic.twitter.com/Y9hA3xlwyE

In the grasp call requires an element of control. There is no reason to shut that play down at all

why did they blow the play dead. No Rams players was getting set to sack him. You cant get in the grasp of your own teammate, can you https://t.co/qWHVJCwaL7

Everyone was confused by the call.
THAT WASN'T IN THE GRASP. AWFUL CALL. DAK WAS LOOSE AND ABOUT TO MAKE A PLAY. REFS HAVE JUST TAKEN THIS AWAY FROM DALLAS.

That was an inexcusable mistake on the in-the-grasp call. Robbed Cowboys of a chance to make it 20-10 or 20-14.

Congratulations to La’el Collins for being the first offensive lineman to record a sack in NFL playoff history.
