It’s the biggest game of the college football season and the refs are missing huge calls because that’s what they do.
In the first quarter of today’s Peach Bow; between Oklahoma and LSU, an LSU defender clearly held onto an Oklahoma player down the field on third down but no pass interference penalty was called for whatever reason.
Pretty clear pass interference on 3rd down by LSU that didn’t even get acknowledged by the officials #CFBPlayoff pic.twitter.com/GCn25EFLQ0

The bigger the game, the less I trust football at all levels. Ask 100 HS officials if this is pass interference. All 100 get the call right, yet “the best” in the NCAA all miss it? Come on!!! pic.twitter.com/nLwjrOZsDe

Sooner fans were not pleased and blasted the refs on Twitter.

So the refs for this game had the best grades amongst all other ACC referees but couldn’t see a blatant pass interference❓
